Valentine’s Day is all about love and friendship, and this year, we celebrated it in a very special way. Our friends from the Quest International University (QIU) Faculty of Business and Management invited us to the lanes of Ampang Superbowl for a fun-filled Family Day Bowling Bash!
Our Newest Community Partner
This event was more than just a game; it was a major milestone for us. Ray of Hope has officially become QIU’s latest community partner.
To make this official, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the opening ceremony. This agreement means that Ray of Hope and QIU will work even closer together on things like:
- Sharing knowledge and best practices for teaching.
- Research projects to help people with special needs.
- New learning opportunities for students and our members.
The partnership was signed by QIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Zita Mohd Fahmi and our Chairman, Rev. Soon Jun Jer.
Fun and Support on the Lanes
The energy at the bowling alley was fantastic! It was wonderful to see the QIU students jumping in to help our Ray of Hope bowlers. They helped steady the lanes, keep track of the scores, and cheered loudly for every single pin that fell.
It wasn’t just about winning; it was about everyone feeling included and having a great time together. This “Family Day” is now in its third year, and it’s a perfect example of how community partnerships can make a real difference.
Looking Forward
While we enjoyed the prizes and photos at the end of the day, the real prize is our future together. This new partnership will lead to more joint projects and student volunteers coming to help at our centre in the years ahead.
We are so happy to be part of the QIU family and look forward to many more events that help our members grow and shine.
