Vocational Bakery
The Vocational Bakery program at Ray of Hope focuses on providing individuals with learning difficulties the opportunity to learn baking skills and gain valuable vocational experience in the baking industry. Participants in this program receive training in various baking techniques, recipe preparation, food safety, and customer service. They have the opportunity to create a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
The Vocational Bakery program not only teaches baking skills but also emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and time management. Through practical hands-on experience, participants develop their culinary abilities, build confidence in their baking skills, and gain valuable insights into the workings of a bakery. The program aims to empower individuals with learning difficulties by providing them with vocational training that can open doors to employment opportunities in the baking industry or enable them to pursue their own entrepreneurial ventures.
